‘What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people.’
I can go into a pub now and have a glass of coke. I’ve come across old friends who wanted to shout me beer and stuff but I don’t go there. I just tell them the truth. I say – no thanks mate, I’ve stopped drinking.

Seeking Help

If you are ready to confront these issues and you’re open to bringing about change in your life, then come and talk to us. This all sounds easy on paper, but the reality is that this is not always the case.  Addiction is a tricky beast and treatment can be really tough.

The first step is to take that first step. Our job is to be there for you when you do and help you along the way.  There may be disagreements along the way, and that's all part of the healing process!

Everyone (not under 18) is welcome at CareNZ no matter race, belief, faith, age, gender. The following Maori saying sums up our overall view to treatment and recovery:

'He aha te mea nui o te ao?
He tangata, he tangata, he tangata'
'What is the most important thing in the world?
It is people, it is people, it is people.'
