AOD Counsellor, Group Facilitator Counsellor, Nurse, Social Worker - Wellington Service
We require an experienced AOD Counsellor, Group Facilitator, Social Worker or Nurse for a role within our Wellington team who deliver individual and group programmes within the Greater Wellington areas.
To be successful in this challenging and rewarding role you will work from a strengths based solutions focused perspective. You will have strong empathy and be skilled in motivational enhancement to support the participants to make positive change and turn their lives around.
We welcome applications from qualified AOD counsellors as well as those from allied disciplines, such as counselling, nursing or social work who have a passion for alcohol and drug treatment and are committed to developing their knowledge and skill base in this important area.
The successful applicant will have;
- a qualification in AOD counselling, counselling, nursing or social work
- experience in addictions counselling or an allied field
- Full dapaanz, NZCA, NZASW or RN registration
An ability to build, develop and sustain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is also important. No two days are the same so flexibility and adaptability are also key.
