‘What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people.’
I can go into a pub now and have a glass of coke. I’ve come across old friends who wanted to shout me beer and stuff but I don’t go there. I just tell them the truth. I say – no thanks mate, I’ve stopped drinking.

Your Treatment Options

At CareNZ, our treatment programmes are specifically tailored to meet your individual needs.

It all starts with an in-depth assessment, so we can create exactly the right plan for you. Your treatment plan might include a range of options such as: one-on-one counselling; group therapy; educational groups; support groups such as 12-Step meetings (AA or NA); an Intensive Outpatient Programme (IOP) or even residential treatment.

During your treatment, we will talk to you about your whanau, family, partner, children, parents and work colleagues, and how your addiction might be affecting them and the changes you might like to make in these areas. It is important to include significant others, family and support networks in your treatment plan.
